There is a kind of rapture each moment in which I am able to witness and experience beauty.

For a moment, nothing else exists.

I am caught within one time, one moment.

It is presence, but it is also longing.  Union, but also loss.  Rapture and remove, simultaneously.

My paintings and photographs chase that moment.  

Each painting pursues the lost moment and explores the new from within the dreams and images recorded from the past.
